Frequently asked questions and
important information about this fight

What can happen if you don't treat it?

You can get sick and die. It’s a very, very terrible way to end your life. And it doesn’t have to be that way.

Is type 2 diabetes reversable?

Yes. It may be easy for some people and hard for others, but it is possible. It all depends on taking advantage of all the tools available to you and getting help when you need it.

What is the most difficult thing about dealing with it?

The first 30 days. If you do what you learn to do and get in the habit of making good decisions, it will get easier. Deal with it one meal at a time, one day at a time, one week at a time, one month at a time. After awhile, it won’t be that difficult.

This is a crisis and we are fighting it!

Type 2 diabetes affects individuals, families, communities, the world. We all pay the price when someone starts losing their battle with this preventable, treatable disease. Fighting it starts with education, support, and changing the ways we look at food, medicine, and healthcare.

Emergency!
